LINDA, DENTAL HYGIENIST
I love being a part of my hometown community and providing preventative, personalized, quality dental care at East Lake Dental. I practiced dental hygiene in Switzerland and Spain for 8 years, then I taught as a clinical dental hygiene instructor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry for 9 years. I am the mother of twins, a son and daughter. Our favorite family activity is camping up north. I adore animals and have two rescue cats and a dog. Our family is involved with the NorthRidge Church Special Needs Parents Group. I have a long history with the practice dating back to my first job out of high school as a dental assistant for an associate of Dr. Jack Healy. Over the years, I have worked as a hygienist for Dr. Diane Pitak and currently Dr. William Jenkins, who provides compassionate, state-of-the-art dental treatment.
I have been a resident of South Lyon for 10 years now. I absolutely love South Lyon and its home town feeling. I have been in the dental field for many years. Here at East Lake Dental we are committed to helping you achieve your healthy smile. When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
I started my career as a dental assistant but soon decided that I wanted to feel more connected with my patients as a hygienist and make a difference in their oral health. My favorite part of working in dentistry is providing not only quality and personalized care but making personal connections and building relationships with my patients, making their visit feel more fun rather than a chore. I am someone who is always looking to grow personally and professionally and am a huge advocate for self-care. You can find me practicing yoga, meditation, learning/experiencing new things and overall staying active. I adore spending time with my family, friends and fur-babies!
Hello, my name is Sheila. I’ve worked in the dental field for over twenty five years. I started my dental career as an orthodontic assistant and then became a dental hygienist in 2001. Before working for East Lake Dental, I worked for Dr Borowiec for a year. At East Lake Dental, we use all the latest dental technology. This helps ensure the best treatment for each of our patients. When I’m not working, I enjoy golfing, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
My name is Gillian and I have been interested in dentistry since my late teens….braces will do that to you! I graduated from OCC in the early 80s with my Dental Assistant Certificate. I’ve worked for Dr. Borowiec in the past (1998-2005) and I moved out of the area for a while, but am happy to say I’m back! Becoming part of East Lake Dental has been a real pleasure. Dr. Jenkins, Dr. Borowiec and all of their staff are a wonderful group of people. We have fun working together and put patients needs and comfort first and foremost. In my free time, I enjoy sewing, bicycling, kayaking and trips up north with friends and family.
