Meet Dr. William Jenkins

I would like to share a little about myself in order for you to get to know me better. I grew up in Troy, MI, where I met my wife, Johnna, at the young age of 7 years old. We now live in Berkley, MI with our sweet rescue dog, Moya and son, Sonny. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and then completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, which has been ranked the #1 dental school in the nation since 2016. I love to stay active and in my free time I like to play hockey and golf.

After dental school, I worked for my old hockey coach at his private practice in Macomb County. I was immediately immersed in the culture of a true family dental practice and loved getting to know the families of patients I treated on a personal level. I went on to expand my skills at a few different private practices and ultimately learned how to cultivate the best patient experience.

I love expanding my knowledge with continuing education and seminars in order to serve my patients to the highest standard possible. With the ever-changing methods and techniques in dentistry, it is of the utmost importance our entire office stays up to date with the most current educational practices in the field.

Meet Dr. Robert Borowiec

                                                    

Dr. Robert Borowiec originally grew up in Dearborn and attended both Michigan State University and the University of Michigan before receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 1981 from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Borowiec chose to establish his family dental practice in South Lyon, where he has resided and served his patients for over 40 years. He has been an active member in the community, including serving as the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce. 

Continuing education has always been a critical focus for Dr. Borowiec. Early in his career, he mentored students as a faculty member at U of D dental school. Throughout his career, he has additionally completed significant hours of training in cosmetics, crown and bridge prosthetics and Implant Dentistry. He is a member of the ADA, MDA, Oakland County Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and the Francis B. Vedder Society. 

Dr. Borowiec and his wife Jane have been married for 40 years and have two daughters, Jennifer and Erin, whom they feel blessed to have resided locally. Jennifer and her husband Andrew live in South Lyon with their daughter, Darcy and son, Jack. Erin and her husband Jake live in Brighton with their daughters, Jemma and Kyla. Dr. Borowiec is a very proud “Papa”.
