Meet Dr. Robert Borowiec
Dr. Robert Borowiec originally grew up in Dearborn and attended both Michigan State University and the University of Michigan before receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 1981 from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Borowiec chose to establish his family dental practice in South Lyon, where he has resided and served his patients for over 40 years. He has been an active member in the community, including serving as the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce.
Continuing education has always been a critical focus for Dr. Borowiec. Early in his career, he mentored students as a faculty member at U of D dental school. Throughout his career, he has additionally completed significant hours of training in cosmetics, crown and bridge prosthetics and Implant Dentistry. He is a member of the ADA, MDA, Oakland County Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and the Francis B. Vedder Society.
Dr. Borowiec and his wife Jane have been married for 40 years and have two daughters, Jennifer and Erin, whom they feel blessed to have resided locally. Jennifer and her husband Andrew live in South Lyon with their daughter, Darcy and son, Jack. Erin and her husband Jake live in Brighton with their daughters, Jemma and Kyla. Dr. Borowiec is a very proud “Papa”.
